RADIANCE / ÉCLAIRAGES
PHOTOGRAPHIC FILM / Stéphane Charpentier
LIVE SOUND PERFORMANCE / Alyssa Moxley
Radiance is a trip through the enigmatic analog images of French photographer Stéphane Charpentier
with live immersive soundscapes by American sound artist Alyssa Moxley. For several years, both artists
are based and working in Athens. The film follows an internal process of redemption, from pastoral calm
to urban chaos, a journey of the human struggle to confront radiations of social, physical,
and psychological power.
Alyssa Moxley works with sound, installation, and collaborative projects. She composes soundtracks
with her field recordings gathered from extensive travels to access narratives of identity, place, space,
and embodied experience. She has curated various sound events, including the Kinisi Festival of Sound
and the music part of the Temps Zero projects.
